Following an ecological calamity on Earth, a family makes a meager living on a barren Martian outpost. Reza (Jonny Lee Miller) and his wife Ilsa (Sofia Boutella) do everything they can to safeguard Remmy (Brooklynn Prince), their nine-year-old daughter, from the perils of the surrounding terrain. However, as hostile outsiders emerge in the neighboring hills, Remmy realizes the frightening reality of her predicament, which her parents had been shielding her from all along.
